The Grand Matriarch™ appoints Heirs following the official completion of their reigns. This elevation takes place on or before April 24 of the year their reign concludes.

​

Heirs serve as trusted advisors, holding both a voice and the ear of the Grand Matriarch™, who serves for life or until retirement. In the event of retirement, the Grand Matriarch™ retains the title and continues as a member of the Board of Directors (Executive).

Mr., Ms, Mx. Charity Bear International™ – "Award of Community Excellence.”

This title is awarded annually by the Grand Matriarch™ as part of the anniversary celebrations of IDQ&F and CDQ&F. As many are aware, there is no election process involved. Instead, the title is conferred in recognition and respect for individuals who have made meaningful contributions to the community.

​

The title carries no formal duties or responsibilities. It serves solely to honour the importance and impact of an individual’s work within the LGBTQ2++ communities over the years.

​

Recipients are selected by the Grand Matriarch™ following consultation with the IDQ&F Heirs.
